ABSTRACT

From the 14th to 17th of April 2010 in Latvia the 52nd International Scientific Conference of the Daugavpils University took place. For many years this event has been actively contributing to the development of the international scientific cooperation among the universities and other research centres in Latvia, in the European Union and beyond its borders. The main aim of this conference was to emphasise the significance of education, higher education and the necessity of introducing innovative scientific solutions into various spheres of social life.
