From the Editors July 2025

Dear Authors and Readers,

Following the recent decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of January 5, 2024, reducing the scoring of scientific journals announced on July 17, 2023, according to which the journal “Economic and Regional Studies” / “Studia Ekonomiczne i Regionalne” received 70 points, our journal, like many Polish scientific journals, found itself in a difficult situation. We suspended the publication of texts in two languages – English and Polish – for a certain period of time. However, believing in the mission of our quarterly, we ensured the high quality of the published articles. This was appreciated and rewarded by the inclusion of the journal in the SCOPUS database. This means that various journal quality measurement indices (SCOPUS Metrics) will soon be calculated for the journal, as is the case for other ELSEVIER Publishing House journals.
In informing you of this, we invite authors to submit their works.
Articles by foreign authors will be published in English with a summary in Polish. Articles submitted in Polish will be translated into English by the editorial staff and published in both languages simultaneously. The costs of translation will be covered by the journal's editorial staff.
We invite authors to submit valuable papers, which, after positive reviews, will be included in international scientific circulation.
