ABSTRACT
The function and development of agricultural farms depend on various factors, such as: maintenance of the financial liquidity (its potential disruption may cause serious financial issues), whereas its loss is a harbinger of the agricultural farm’s bankruptcy. A falling financial liquidity and an increasing number of doubtful debts, which are connected to it, are a sign of a decline in the entity’s financial situation. The relation between the financial liquidity and the profitability of the agricultural farms, is also of a great importance. The financial liquidity is perceived as the most important element of the company’s existence. At the same time, profitability, which informs about the profit made, provides a lot of essential information when it comes to an economic entity’s development. A simultaneous analysis of the financial liquidity and profitability of an enterprise gives a clearer insight into its financial situation and allows an appropriate reasoning.
