STRESZCZENIE
Przedmiot i cel pracy: Improper waste disposal is a major environmental issue, Globally, municipalities are increasingly adopting smart waste management technologies to ease the burden on waste collection systems. This study investigates the role of entrepreneurs in the municipal solid waste sector,Kokrajhar city in Assam. Materiały i metody: A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through a structured questionnaire administered to 600 households with random sampling method. Wyniki: The instrument demonstrated excellent reliability, with item scores ranging from 0.880 to 0.916, well above the accepted threshold of 0.70. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure was 0.808, indicating strong sampling adequacy for factor analysis. Wnioski: This study contributes to sustainable municipal solid waste (MSW) management by emphasizing the role of entrepreneurs in Kokrajhar, Assam. It explores how household awareness and entrepreneurial strategies influence waste practices.
